"For the Love of Literacy"

     Smarty Pants Educational has traveled to many Literacy Events this past March, April, and May! 

March 24th 2013 -  Our first stop was the Peel Region District School Board 12th Annual Literacy Expo, which  was held in Brampton, Ontario at David Suzuki Secondary School. These seminars provided practical ways parents could boost learning at home. Our highlighting reader strips were a hit with parents!

April 13th 2013 - Smarty Pants traveled to Burlington, Ontario where we participated in an annual event called "For the Love of Literacy" The majority of participants were ECE and teachers who were enlightened with alternative methods for promoting literacy in the classroom. 

April 22nd, 2013 - Our display traveled to Wheatley Montessori School in St. Catharines. We promoted our learning tools to the younger grades encouraging early learning.Good to see familiar faces!

May 4th 2013 - This past weekend Smarty Pants attended the 10th Annual Fort Erie Literacy Event featuring "Jillian Jiggs" as the star fictional character for the event. Our most popular "literacy-friendly" tool was the never-failing pencil grips!
